Dr Henry Ho is currently a Member of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a Member of Expert Group of the Chief Executive's Policy Unit of Hong Kong, a Council Member of China Overseas Friendship Association，a Council Member of The Education University of Hong Kong, a Council Member of Chinese Association of Hong Kong & Macao Studies, Vice President of Hong Kong Professional and Senior Executives Association and a Member of Steering Committee on Rule of Law Education.
He has ample experience in local think-tanks as well as the HKSAR Government. He was former Political Assistant to the Secretary for Development, full-time researcher and part-time member of the Central Policy Unit, Assistant Director of Hong Kong Policy Research Institute and Member of the Constitution and Basic Law Promotion Steering committee. He also serves as a council member of the United Nations Association of China, a member of the Research and Development Committee of the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, and a member of District Fight Crime Committee(Kowloon City District). In 2022, he received the "7th Global Outstanding Young Leader" award from”Asiaweek”.
He holds a PhD in Law from Peking University, and his main research areas include "One Country, Two Systems" and the Basic Law, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Hong Kong civil servants, and youth issues.
