More and more Hong Kong people are realizing the importance of the leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a Hong Kong scholar has said.
Henry KC Ho, founder and chairman of the One Country Two Systems Youth Forum, said steady progress has been made in the practice of "one country, two systems" in Hong Kong under the leadership of the CPC since Hong Kong's return to the motherland.
The CPC will soon celebrate the 100th anniversary of its founding on July 1, a day that will also mark the 24th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland.
The scholar said he hoped the day could be "a new beginning of Hong Kong's young people to learn and understand more about the history, development and the achievements of this Party."
